Progress and Updates on the van
I just got the doghouse on for the winter but I cant drive it anymore as insurance goes off on Dec 8th but I did also just install an AF ratio gauge and a boost guage...OH NO...watchout boost is building!!! Picked up a pair of T4's one is on ebay the other is reserved for the van. Might get a diffrent trim on the compressor side though. Having really got my combination complete yet. |
My astro and whats done to it
Well its a 92 GMC safari with the a Starcraft conversion so its all luxury inside, but who cares about that stuff. It has a 99 LS1 motor. Mostly just bolt ons right now. The normal bolt on stuff makes these motors fly so it has K&N intake on the intake side and Headers with 2.5 inch exhaust. |
The Legendary Six-Deuce is down
I dont know what happened but she broke, sounds like a wristpin cracked or mabye a con rod bearing could have spun. Sounds more like a wristpin though so I should have her back and running in a couple days. It couldnt have come at a worse time though because I was supose to drive molly to school in chicago :( I will try to get some pictures up of it because its kinda cool because if you look at the companion cylinder you can see that it sits a little lower then its partner cyl. After that the quest should continue for the long journey of 300,000miles
